The problems in your gyms are most of the time, not your true problems…

Let me explain.

Let's say revenue was down in our gyms for one month.

Is revenue being down the true problem, or is it because appointments are low, the close rate is low, or cancellations are high?

Well, you don't know until you start analyzing and looking at numbers.

But here is where we went wrong, and most of you might go wrong...

Assuming.

Assuming it was this or that.

Then providing solutions to things that aren't actually a problem.

Leaving us exactly where we started.

Trying to figure out the true problem.

We as people always want to move as fast as possible and assume things.

Which actually hurts us more than helps us...

And we want to do this because providing solutions to problems is the exciting part of the puzzle.

And are most of the time easier to come up with.

Lesson?

Sometimes, being slow is actually faster.

Take the time to figure out what the true issue is.

Because it's not always numbers based.

Then once you have the true problem, test one solution to that problem.

And once you have deployed the solution, you absolutely have to ensure you can measure it.

So it's not subjective and you aren't making future decisions based on emotions.
